Photovoltaic plant "Shtip Solar"

  1. Location

The photovoltaic power plant "Shtip Solar" is located near the town of Shtip, near the village called "Babi", Municipality of Shtip. The municipality is an area of a predominantly mountainous and hilly relief, as well as of a moderate-continental climate, with a certain influence of a modified Mediterranean climate.

  2. Parameters

The total installed power of this plant amounts to 4,118.4 kW.
In order to use the available area of the plot to its fullest, 7,488 photovoltaic with an individual installed capacity of 550 W panels were placed on a structure at an angle of 24 degrees.
The plot in question occupies an area of 38,148.00 m2, with the panels arranged in rows and oriented to the south.
The solar radiation has an average annual energy density of solar radiation of 1,600 KWh/m2.
The total annual production expected is 5,515,911.26 kWh.

  3. Environmental impact

The generation of electricity by photovoltaic panels (solar cells) has a positive impact on the environment and the use of the panels indirectly reduces the emission of greenhouse gases; therefore, this power plant helps reduce the emission of CO2 to 383 ,529.4 kg.
